Super Green Smoothie

Need a plant-based power-boost to start your day? This Power Green Smoothie will do the trick! Packed with superfoods and antioxidants, this smoothie will leave you satisfied and full while giving you all the energy you need to get through your busy morning! I love this smoothie because it is filled with healthy ingredients like spinach and celery, but the vibrant flavors of the kiwi and mango completely mask the bitter taste of the veggies. This is a great way to get some of those earthy greens into your diet without ever knowing they are there! Try it out for yourself!

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup frozen mango
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 frozen kiwi
  • 1 celery stalk
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 1/2 lemon (juiced)
  • 1/2 cup oat milk
  • 2 tbsp plant-based vanilla protein powder
  • 1 cup water

Instructions:

  1. In a smoothie blender, blend frozen mango, frozen banana, frozen kiwi, celery, spinach, oat milk, fresh-squeezed lemon juice, water, and plant-based protein powder until smooth. If consistency seems too thick, add more water. (*For smoother/creamier texture, add more oat milk than water to the blender initially). Enjoy!

*Tip: For a little extra nutrition and protein, add chia seeds into smoothie or sprinkle on top.*
