Find yourself craving those deliciously frozen coffee drinks from your favorite coffeehouse? I do too. However, those drinks are often LOADED with sugar and can leave you feeling more tired hours afterwards. Wouldn’t it be great to have a frozen coffee beverage that tasted just as good, but left you feeling satisfied and energized all morning long? Well, look no further! This Peanut Butter Banana Coffee Smoothie is one of my favorite breakfast drinks. Packed with vitamins and protein, this smoothie has enough nutrients and density to be a breakfast meal itself. Try it out for yourself!
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup ice
- 1 whole frozen banana
- 1/4 cup peanut butter
- 2 tbsp PBfit powder
- 1 tbsp plant protein powder (I use Vital Proteins Vegan Chocolate Protein Powder)
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 cup oat milk
- 2 tbsp oats
- 1 cup cold brew coffee
Instructions:
- In a blender, combine ice, frozen banana, peanut butter, PBfit powder, plant protein powder, cinnamon, oat milk, oats, and cold brew coffee. Blend until creamy. If needed, add more oat milk and blend until there are no chunks and consistency is smooth. Pour into a glass and enjoy!
- Optional: Top with Coconut Milk Reddi-wip topping and shaved dark chocolate (I use 85% dark cocao from Trader Joes).
