This is one of my all-time breakfast favorites that I tend to go-to most mornings for a healthy and filling start to my day. I have been making avocado toast for almost my whole life, but over the years, I have experimented with alternative ways to prepare it and spruce it up. This is one of the easiest (only 4 ingredients) and quickest recipes to make. Simply toast a slice of whole-grain or sprouted bread (my favorite is the Sesame Ezekiel brand) in the toaster. When your bread is nice as toasted to your liking, smash a half of an avocado on top of it. Lastly, this is where you can get creative. I usually like to finish off my avocado toast with Everything but the Bagel seasoning and salt. However, I’ve also seen this topped with paprika, fresh tomato slices, arugula, or a fried egg (for a non-vegan alternative). Whichever way you prefer to make it, your taste buds will LOVE IT! Bon Appétit!
